Olto raises $5.1 million to automate personalized software demos for B2B sales

Olto has raised $5.1 million in pre-seed funding. Nexus Venture Partners and The General Partnership co-led the round, with additional backing from Afore Capital, Recall Capital, Ligature, and FirstHand.

Olto is a startup aiming to modernize how to demonstrate and sell business-to-business (B2B) software.

Founded by former Amazon executives Kintan Brahmbhatt and Jean-Baptiste Chaput, along with engineer Pranav Midha, Olto has developed an AI-powered platform that generates personalized, interactive demos directly from a company’s product and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. It designed the tool to replace manual demo prep work with real-time, buyer-specific product experiences.

“In most B2B sales teams, demo delivery is slow, inconsistent, and dependent on technical support,” said Brahmbhatt, Olto’s CEO. “We built Olto to serve as an always-on demo engineer — one that’s tailored to each prospect and always up to date.”

The company says its platform integrates with live products and overlays buyer-specific data and context. That enables sales teams to show relevant use cases without needing to manually configure environments. Olto’s back end uses a combination of large language models and custom orchestration tools to adapt demos to each opportunity.

The startup is targeting a well-known bottleneck in enterprise software sales: demo delivery often depends on limited solutions engineering resources and static environments. As B2B buyers demand more personalized and self-directed product experiences — similar to consumer-grade platforms — sales teams are under pressure to scale those experiences with fewer resources.

“Sales teams spend hours preparing demos that often fall flat because they’re too generic,” said Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus Venture Partners. “Olto eliminates that burden by delivering targeted, relevant demos instantly.”

Early adopters include Demandbase, Eightfold.ai, Qventus, and Jiminny. According to the company, some customers have reduced demo prep time by as much as 70% and reported improvements in win rates.

Olto is one of several emerging startups applying generative AI to sales and marketing workflows. But it is focusing specifically on demo automation. That niche has typically relied on static tools or live product environments that are difficult to configure at scale.

Olto will use the funding to grow the engineering team, deepen product integrations, and expand early go-to-market efforts. The companies did not disclose terms of the round. Olto is based in San Francisco.
