JobNimbus secures $330 million investment and a new distributor

JobNimbus has secured funding in the form of a $330 million investment from Sumeru Equity Partners.

The funding will support the company’s plans to scale operations, expand product offerings, and strengthen its position in the contractor technology market. Existing investors, including CEO Ben Hodson, co-founders Nick and Jason Wood, and Mainsail Partners, will maintain their involvement in the business.

JobNimbus is a software provider specializing in solutions for the roofing industry.

“This investment will help us push forward with advanced tools and better solutions for contractors,” Hodson said.

Sumeru co-founder Jason Babcoke will join the JobNimbus board of directors, along with Sumeru representatives Chris Litster, Paul Mercadante, Jack McCabe, and Blake Shott. Mainsail Partners representatives Vinay Kashyap and KC Kanoff will remain on the board.

Sumeru is known for helping scale high-growth software companies. It emphasized its strategic focus on developing JobNimbus as a category leader.

“We look forward to expanding the platform and creating lasting impact in the contractor space,” Babcoke said.

New JobNimbus distributor

In a separate development, JobNimbus has partnered with ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing and select building materials in North America. The collaboration integrates ABC Supply’s digital tools into the JobNimbus platform. It gives contractors direct access to material pricing, order placement, and delivery tracking.

The integration aims to improve operational efficiency for contractors by reducing delays and providing real-time visibility into material orders. Key features include dynamic pricing from local ABC Supply branches, seamless incorporation of materials into project estimates, and notifications for order status updates.

Mark Olson, JobNimbus vice president of strategic alliances, highlighted the practical benefits. He noted that streamlined supply chain management is essential for contractors to meet project deadlines and control costs. ABC Supply’s Kris Kieffer added that the integration aligns with the distributor’s focus on leveraging technology to better serve customers.

The new features are available for early access through JobNimbus. The company’s moves come amid growing demand for technological solutions in construction, particularly as firms look to optimize project workflows and adapt to shifting supply chain dynamics.

JobNimbus and Sumeru plan to continue investments in product development and strategic partnerships as part of a broader effort to modernize tools for contractors across the construction industry.
